Important features of a ZACK soap dispenser or soap dish
ZACK is known for high-quality materials, smart details, and sleek design. A soap dispenser is practical for multiple users at the same time and prevents direct contact with a bar of soap. Below are the features that determine daily ease of use and a long lifespan.
Material: Stainless steel & powder-coated steel
Stainless steel is the ideal material for damp environments. ZACK uses 18/10 stainless steel – an alloy with 18% chromium and 10% nickel – which is both rust- and acid-resistant. Brushed stainless steel has a subtle matte sheen where fingerprints are barely noticeable, while polished stainless steel offers a more luxurious, mirrored appearance but shows stains slightly more easily. The black and white models feature a powder coating that offers extra protection against moisture and scratches, combined with a stylish matte look.
Contents & size (130–200 ml)
Most ZACK soap dispensers have a capacity between approx. 130 and 200 ml. Which size is most convenient depends on the usage:
- ±130 ml - ideal for the guest toilet or a room with few users. The MANOLA 130 ml (Ø ~5 cm, height ~12.5 cm) fits the narrowest washbasin.
- 175–200 ml - Suitable for the family bathroom or kitchen, where multiple people use the dispenser daily. The LINEA 190 ml offers sufficient capacity without taking up much space.
Refill & maintenance (removable bottle)
Many ZACK dispensers feature a removable plastic bottle or insert, preventing the soap from coming into direct contact with the metal. Refilling is therefore clean and quick. Sustainability is improved by using refill packs instead of disposable pumps.
Maintenance tips:
- Rinse the outside regularly with lukewarm water and dry with a soft cloth.
- Avoid harsh abrasives – a mild cleaning agent will suffice.
- Keep the pump mechanism running smoothly by avoiding very thick gels; dilute them if necessary.
- Stainless steel retains its shine or matte effect the longest when you wipe it dry after cleaning.
Assembly & stability
- Wall models Supplied with screws and plugs for mounting on tiled or concrete walls. Use the correct drill size and follow the included mounting instructions for a sturdy result.
- Freestanding models They often have a weighted base or silicone pad that prevents slipping on smooth surfaces. The washbasin top remains scratch-free.
- Soap dishes like the ABBACO, are equipped with plastic feet or anti-scratch caps, so that even delicate sheets remain protected.
How do you choose the right ZACK soap dispenser or soap dish?
The choice depends on three factors: available space, daily use, and desired style. By combining a dispenser and soap dish from the same series, you create a calm overall look. View the complete ZACK soap dispensers and soap dishes selection to compare the options side by side.
- Mounting type & room - In a small toilet area or with a narrow washbasin, a wall-mounted dispenser is the smartest choice: no wasted space and clean lines. Would you prefer not to have drill holes? Then a compact freestanding model (Ø ~5 cm) is the best solution.
- Use (bathroom, toilet, kitchen) - For the toilet, a compact 130 ml model suffices, optionally wall-mounted. In the main bathroom, a larger 190 ml dispenser is more practical, combined with shower accessories. In the kitchen, a freestanding dispenser next to the sink works well – the silicone base plate keeps the countertop clean. Hygienic soap dispensers improve health at workplaces and care facilities, making an automatic version particularly valuable here.
- Style & color of the bathroom Brushed stainless steel blends seamlessly with chrome taps, polished stainless steel suits a luxury hotel atmosphere, and black or white powder-coated steel stands out in modern or industrial interiors. Bathroom accessories significantly improve the styling of toilets and bathrooms when coordinated.
- Formation with other ZACK accessories - Stay within the same series (e.g. LINEA or SCALA) for toilet brush, towel hook, and soap dispenser. View all ZACK products to put together a complete set. A dispenser ensures a hygienic way to wash hands and fits seamlessly alongside matching toilet brushes and toilet roll holders – both are popular and essential bathroom accessories.
- Ease of maintenance - Those who do not want to polish constantly are best off choosing brushed stainless steel or matte black/white. The removable plastic bottle allows for quick refilling and cleaning.
Frequently asked questions about ZACK soap dispensers & soap dishes
Below, we answer the most common customer questions about ZACK soap accessories at Bath.&Living.
Which ZACK soap dispenser fits best in a small toilet?
Compact wall-mounted models such as the LINEA or SCALA with a capacity of approx. 130 ml are ideal: they take up no space on the washbasin and hang flush against the wall. Is drilling not an option? Then choose a narrow freestanding model such as the MANOLA (Ø ~5 cm). On Bath&You can filter Living by size and mounting method to quickly find the right item.
Are ZACK soap dispensers suitable for both liquid soap and disinfectant?
Yes, most ZACK dispensers are designed for liquid hand soap, but they also work well with thin lotions or hand sanitizer. Avoid very thick gels – these can strain the pump mechanism. If necessary, dilute them with a splash of water for smooth dispensing.
How do I prevent rust stains or tarnish on my ZACK stainless steel soap dispenser?
ZACK uses 18/10 stainless steel, which is naturally rust-proof. However, soap and limescale residues can cause stains if left to sit. Rinse the dispenser regularly, dry it with a soft cloth, and never use abrasive cleaning agents. Powder-coated models in black or white require the least maintenance and are a good choice for those who want to keep maintenance to a minimum.
Can I mount a ZACK wall soap dispenser on a tiled wall myself?
Certainly. Every wall-mounted model comes with mounting hardware. Use a tile drill bit of the correct size, measure accurately, and follow the included installation manual. Do you have little DIY experience? Then hire a professional – this will prevent cracks in the tile.
Does a ZACK soap dish match other brands of bathroom accessories?
The minimalist design of ZACK—with calm shapes and neutral colors—combines well with many other brands. However, the best result is achieved when you choose multiple ZACK items from the same series. Bath&Living displays complete series on the website, so you can easily see which accessories match your selection.
